Background

After earning my Masters Degree in Agriculture, I made a living in various ranches across Montana where I started colts, day worked on cattle ranches, and guided big game on horseback in the backcountry of Montana.

I accepted a ranch manager’s position at the age of 26 on a traditional cow calf ranch. I managed cattle ranches in western Montana for over a decade, riding horses nearly every day to feed, move, monitor, and doctor the cattle. I rode bareback and saddle bronco horses, traveling to all the local rodeos and going to any bucking horse practice I could find. Wild, rank it didn’t matter, I would get on any horse I came across.   At the time, I thought I was a pretty fair horseman.

After a few years, I realized my greatest talent was not my technique or ability, but that I had no fear of horses and had the gift to feel and predict when something bad or good was about to happen.

I have dedicated my life to sharing my horsemanship abilities with others.
